Ghosts, Rye, and Eddie Munster: A True Story Halloween at Pearl Street Taphouse

By: Amanda Hightower, True Story Storyteller

Pearl Street Taphouse knows how to throw a party, and Halloween was no exception. Teri and Kelly (the dynamic duo behind the bar) teamed up with their lead bartender Jenn to conjure up something truly spirited: the True Story Ghost Story Sour, made with True Story Rye and a dash of haunted legend.

Why haunted? Well, rumor has it the Taphouse is home to a few ghostly residents. So naturally, the night centered around firepit ghost stories, cocktails in hand, and a whole lot of spooky vibes.

The star of the evening? Actor Butch Patrick, aka the original Eddie Munster, had previously done a meet and greet, signing bottles of True Story and adding a little Hollywood horror charm to the mix.

Teri and Jenn had this to say:
"Huge thank you to Amanda! She was such an asset to our event! Her storytelling abilities are unmatched and she was a fun addition to the party. The True Story cocktail, True Story Ghost Story Sour did really well—SO well, we're running it through Halloween!"

If you missed it, don’t worry—the Ghost Story Sour is sticking around a little longer. Swing by Pearl Street Taphouse, grab a glass, and see if you can spot a ghost of your own.

Pearl Street Taphouse is located in Jeffersonville, IN.
